Cyberattacks can extend length of stay, delay procedures, survey says

Fifty-six percent of IT and security professionals said cyberattacks have affected patient care, according to a new survey from Ponemon Institute. Nearly one-quarter of those respondents said such attacks resulted in an increased mortality rate, among other consequences.
